Washington requires the use of tamper proof resistant prescription pads

Last June, legislation passed in Washington requiring the use of tamper proof resistant prescription pads approved by the Board of Pharmacy effective July 1st of this year.   
Come July 1, physicians writing prescriptions on non-approved pads will have their prescription refused at the pharmacy. Click Here for an explanation of the new requirement from the Board of Pharmacy Click Here for a sample prescription.
